Meditation: Priceless Gifts for Free

I hate to admit this, but I’ve been neglecting my meditation practice lately, big time. I’ve allowed myself to become “too busy.”  The result?  Well, let’s just say that I haven’t been my usual joyful self. I gave myself an inner boost this morning, though, and it made such a difference that I felt inspired to share.

Here are just some of the benefits you might receive in a 20-minute meditation:

  • Be reminded that your life is not about the outside world and all its complications.
  • Experience a sense of privilege to have been given the opportunity to live.
  • Feel closely connected with the energy behind all of life.

How to Consciously Create Your Day – Part 2

Last January I discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza‘s theory about how to consciously create your day, a result of my viewing the film, What the Bleep. It was one of those pieces of wisdom that stayed with me, yet I have to admit that I haven’t been able to grasp exactly how to put it to use in a practical way. This morning I think I got it.

How to consciously create your day:

  1. Start by getting a clear vision of what you want to experience or accomplish for the day
  2. Identify the steps necessary to achieve that vision
  3. Follow through on those steps
  4. Throughout the day bring your consciousness back to your vision, acknowledging that you are in the process of creating it
  5. Recognize that your consciousness and external actions are coming together to create your vision

Raising Your Vibration to Attract What You Want

Why should you know what it means to raise your vibration? Because the process of raising your vibration is all about aligning with the energy that will attract what you want in your life.

Here are some examples:

To experience abundance, act from a mindset of prosperity:

  • Eliminate the idea of lack. Acknowledge that what lies between you and abundance is your ability to claim it for yourself.
  • Recognize that opportunities to create more abundance are all around you. It’s just a matter of focusing on them and following through.
  • Give generously, expecting that what you need will be provided.

To live meaningfully, follow your passions:

  • Be driven by passion, not by money.
  • Trust your heart over your analytical mind.
  • Recognize that your unique gifts provide the clues to your purpose.

To achieve inner peace, be authentic:

  • Express your inner self in your outer world.
  • Connect with others from your heart.
  • Seek to deliver what you’ve been born to do.

This past week I followed through on an urge to revisit a video I’d watched three years ago, which, frankly, didn’t do much for me at the time. But this time around I received “What the Bleep Do We Know?” like a treasure chest full of profound wisdom. One of the most insightful segments was an interview with Dr. Joe Dispenza, where he shared how he consciously creates his day each morning.

I believe that the practice that Dr. Dispenza shares is the key to becoming an effective creator of your life, so I’ve provided a full transcript of this interview below.

I wake up in the morning, and I consciously create my day the way I want it to happen. Now, sometimes, because my mind is examining all the things that I need to get done, it takes me a little bit to settle down, and get to the point, of where I’m actually intentionally creating my day. But here’s the thing.”

When I create my day, and out of nowhere, little things happen that are so unexplainable, I know that they are the process or the result of my creation. And the more I do that, the more I build a neural net, in my brain, that I accept that that’s possible. Gives me the power and the incentive to do it the next day.”

So, if we’re consciously designing our destiny, if we’re consciously, from a spiritual standpoint, throwing in the idea that our thoughts can affect our reality or affect our life, because reality equals life. Then, I have this little pact that I have when I create my day.”

I say, I’m taking this time to create my day, and I’m infecting the Quantum Field. Now, if it is in fact, the observer’s watching me the whole time that I’m doing this, and there is a spiritual aspect to myself. Then, show me a sign today, that you paid attention to any one of these things that I created, and bring them in a way that I won’t expect.”

“So, I’m as surprised at my ability to be able to experience these things, and make it so that I have no doubt that its come from you. And so, I live my life, in a sense, all day long, thinking about being a genius, or thinking about being the glory and the power of God, or thinking about being Unconditional Love.

I’ll use living as a genius, for example. And as I do that, during parts of the day, I’ll have thoughts that are so amazing, that cause a chill in my physical body, that have come from nowhere. But then, I remember that that thought has an associated energy, that’s produced an effect in my physical body.”

“Now, that’s a subjective experience, but the truth is that I don’t think that unless I was creating my day to have unlimited thought, that that thought would come.
